On-Time Graduation Rate Exceeds State Average
10/08/2019
Frederick County Public Schools’ on-time graduation rate for the Class of 2019 was 92.8 percent compared to Virginia’s rate of 91.5percent. In addition to exceeding the state’s on-time graduation rate, the school division’s 3.2 percent dropout rate for the Class of 2019 was lower than the state’s rate of 5.6 percent.

SAT Scores Exceed National Mean

The overall mean score of Frederick County Public Schools' 2019 graduates who took the SAT exceeded the national mean score of public high school seniors. Frederick County’s mean score of 1105 was 66 points higher than the national mean score for public schools.
