The STEAM elective is in need of your unwanted electronics (except tube TVs, computer monitors and microwaves), old lawn equipment (mowers, blowers, weedwackers), old bikes or maybe even a junk car. Contact Mr. Newman.

Every parent is asked to activate their Parent/Student 360 account and check the account frequently. The latest edition of Frederick County Public Schools’ E-newsletter FCPS Focus is now available.

Eligible families are encouraged to apply to participate in the Free and Reduced Meals Program for the 2019-20 school year. Under the program, eligible students can receive both school breakfast and lunch for free or a reduced price each school day.

Frederick County Public Schools welcomed 13,333 students for the opening of the 2019-20 school year on August 15. That's the highest opening day attendance in the history of the school division.

For the third consecutive year, Frederick County Public Schools ranks among the top school districts in Virginia on the Niche list of Best School Districts in Virginia. The 2020 Niche list ranks FCPS 34th out of Virginia’s 132 school divisions. FCPS is ranked 10th on the list of Districts with the Best Teachers in Virginia and is number 18 on the list of Best Places to Teach in Virginia.
